John has long had a passion for helping others and enjoys guiding clients through the intricate world of finance and investing. Born and raised in Sioux City, IA, John earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration from Morningside College, as well as an Associate degree as an EMT-Paramedic from Western Iowa Tech Community College. Before joining Baird, John spent 11 years in orthopedic medical sales, where he further developed his passion for helping people and providing exceptional customer service.
John resides in Sioux City, IA, with his wife, Taylor, and their two sons, Henry and Hudson. He is actively involved in his church, serving on multiple committees and contributing musically as a bassist and singer for the worship team. Committed to giving back to the community, John serves as the Chairman of the Government Relations Committee at the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce and as a Reserve Deputy with the Woodbury County Sheriff’s Office. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, working in the yard, golfing, cycling, and cooking.
